What is Ventolin?

Ventolin (also known as salbutamol) is used to prevent and treat wheezing and shortness of breath caused by breathing problems such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It works by relaxing the muscles around the airways so that they open up and you can breathe more easily. Active ingredient of Ventolin is  Albuterol/Salbutamol.

Common side effect

• Mouth or throat dryness.
• Headache
• Change in taste

Precaution

• If you are allergic to ventolin or facing issue even after taking ventolin please consult with your doctor.
• If you are breast feeder mother you should consult your doctor because it says ventolin might mix in milk.
